About Hwayo CEO
Prof. Dr. Chuang is currently the president and CEO of the company. He established the company in March of 1998. He has fruitful experiences in the field of pharmaceutical research and natural products. He earned his Doctorate of Natural Science degree at the Institute of Pharmacognosy and Phytochemistry/ Frei University, Berlin Germany. He was professor in the College of Medicine/National Yang-Ming University for five years. Afterwards, he served as the division director of Taiwan FDA(Food and Drug Administration) for several years. Between 1986-1990, he was a senior research scientist in the Department of Medical Pharmacology and Toxicology at the College of Medicine/Texas A&M University. During this time, he obtained the patent of Treatment of Ocular Inflammation.
